Your data
Delete your Synsa data
How to delete what the Synsa app keeps on your phone, and how to ask us to delete what Synsa holds about you.
The short version
- You don’t need a Synsa account to use the Synsa app. Your chats, Memory, settings and API keys are stored on your phone, not on Synsa’s servers. You can sign in to the app with a Synsa account you made on synsa.com.
- To delete them, open Synsa and go to Profile › My data › Delete Synsa data. You pick what to delete.
- Some files stay on your phone after you uninstall Synsa: backups, chats you exported, files you saved from an answer, and the pictures and videos you saved. Delete them in your phone’s Files app.
- Synsa itself holds very little: reports, support messages and problem logs you sent us, and, only if you made one, a Synsa account (with the phones signed in to it), a Synsa news sign‑up or voice guide conversations.
- To have those deleted, delete your account in the app (Profile › My data › Delete my Synsa account) or on synsa.com, or email aiproject01837@gmail.com. We answer within one month.

Delete what’s on your phone
The Synsa app stores your chats, Memory, voice chats, settings, your usage history and your API keys on your phone. You can delete them yourself at any time:
- Open Synsa, then Settings (the three dots at the top right, then Settings), and tap the round button at the top right of Settings to open Profile.
- Tap My data, then Delete Synsa data.
- Pick what to delete: chats, Memory, voice chats, settings, usage history, your API keys, pictures, videos and voice notes, and the backup file in Downloads (it stays unless you switch it on).
- Tap Delete from Synsa and hold Hold to delete. Synsa deletes what you picked from this phone and opens again.
Profile › Legal › About Synsa › Delete my data explains the same steps, and its Delete from this phone button takes you to Delete Synsa data.
To remove only a key, open Settings › API and tap Remove key.
Uninstalling Synsa also removes the app’s own storage from your phone, except the files listed next.
Files that stay after you uninstall
These files are saved in your phone’s shared folders, so they stay on your phone after you uninstall Synsa, until you delete them:
- Your backup, if you turned on Back up every day or tapped Back up now. It is one file in Downloads › Synsa backups, replaced each time. It holds what you switched on under Profile › My data › What’s included: your chats, Memory and settings and, if you picked them, your pictures and videos and your API keys (API keys only locked with your backup password). Delete it in your phone’s Files app, or, before you uninstall, in Synsa with Profile › My data › Delete Synsa data › Backup file in Downloads.
- Backup copies you sent or saved yourself: a copy you sent with Profile › My data › Share, and backups saved with Save to phone in earlier versions of Synsa (their names start with Synsa-backup, straight in your Downloads folder). Delete them where you put them, in your phone’s Files app.
- Chats you exported, and files from an answer that you saved (a document, a spreadsheet, slides and so on). They are in your Downloads folder. Delete them in your phone’s Files app.
- Pictures and videos you saved to your gallery. They are usually in Pictures › Synsa and Movies › Synsa. Delete them in your gallery or Files app.
Delete Synsa data removes only the backup in Downloads › Synsa backups. The other files above are deleted in your phone’s Files app. On Android 8 and 9 your backup is in Synsa’s own folder, which Android removes with the app, and the files you save go where you pick, so look there.
Synsa has no copy of these files. They exist only on your phone.
What the AI companies keep
When you ask a question, your message goes to the AI companies you picked, through your own OpenRouter or Nano‑GPT account. What you sent them is kept under their rules, not ours, and Synsa can’t delete it for you.
To have it deleted, ask the company your account is with: OpenRouter or Nano‑GPT. Our Privacy Policy lists every company the app sends to.
What Synsa itself holds
The Synsa app doesn’t keep your chats on our servers. With a Synsa plan, voice calls, read aloud, voice notes and sharper dictation pass through our server on their way to the companies that run them, and it keeps no sound and no words. The main things we may hold about you:
| What | When we have it | Deleted automatically | Delete it sooner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reports, support messages and problem logs | If you sent one from the app. A report: what you reported and why, your note, which AI made it, the app and Android version and, only if you chose to include them, your question and the AI’s answer. A support message: what you wrote and, if you gave it, your email address. A problem log: the app’s error notes, only if you chose to send one, with your note and email address if you gave them. No account, no device ID, never a picture or video. | After one year | Email us. Say about when you sent it and what it was about, and the email address you gave if you gave one, because it carries no name or account. |
| A Synsa account | Only if you made one on synsa.com: your name, email, plan and the ways you sign in. If you sign in to the Synsa app with it: each phone’s name and when it was last used, and how much of your plan you used (minutes and characters, never sound or words). | No. It stays until you delete it. A phone that isn’t used for 90 days is signed out. | Delete it yourself, at once: in the app, or on synsa.com. Or email us. |
| Synsa news | Only if you signed up for our email news: your email address. | 30 days after you unsubscribe | Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us. |
| Voice guide conversations | Only if you talked or typed to the voice guide on this website: a written copy of the conversation. | After 180 days | Email us and say roughly when it was. |
Our Privacy Policy has the full list and the details.
Ask us to delete your data
Delete your account yourself
In the Synsa app: open Settings (the three dots at the top right, then Settings), tap the round button at the top right of Settings to open Profile, tap My data, and tap Delete my Synsa account at the bottom. It opens the deletion page in your browser (also at synsa.com/app/delete-account). Type “delete” to confirm.
On synsa.com: sign in and open your Account page. Under Delete account, type “delete” to confirm.
Either way, your account is deleted at once: your name and email, your plan, every way you signed in, every phone signed in to it and your Synsa news sign‑up. If you have a paid plan, it ends at the same moment and you aren’t charged again.
Sign in and delete your account
Or ask by email
Write to aiproject01837@gmail.com and tell us what to delete. If it’s an account or a Synsa news sign‑up, write from the email address it’s under. It’s free.
- We answer within one month, and we tell you when it’s done.
- We may ask a question first to make sure the information is yours.
- You can ask for everything, or only part: for example your Synsa news sign‑up but not your account.
What we may still keep
- Our database’s safety copies at Cloudflare could bring a deleted account back for 7 days. After that it’s gone from them too.
- Emails you sent us stay in our mailbox until we delete them. Ask, and we delete those too.
- When a report involves the sexual abuse of a child, we keep a dated note of what we did, with no picture, because we report it to the authorities.
- If you ever bought a plan, the payment company keeps its own record of the purchase under its own rules.
